The Cleanse: I consider myself a pooh expert. It all started when I raised two little poohs. I cleaned up a lot of pooh. Now, about this colon cleanse product. I have been called a health freak a time or two. I do know the importance of a healthy colon. I try to pooh 1 time each day or more if I am lucky. However, during high stress, I barely go that 1 time and then it is hard and painful. I also know that when we get a colonoscopy to take a look up in there, the doctor can only go in so far, so if the doctor does not see anything in there, that does not mean anything. Look how long our intestines are anyway. Believe me folks, we do not have instruments that prod our bodies that far up. So do not think a clean colonoscopy means you do not have build up.

DrNatura’s Colonix cleanse was something I wanted to try for the last 2 years. I finally researched and came to the conclusion that I too wanted to get the old pooh out and in with the new. I wanted the DrNatura product. So, 28 days ago, I started the cleanse. I took the capsules and the fiber every morning and drank the tea every night. I love the tea. This process is the easiest regimen I have ever done.

Day 2... I already had one of those funky shaped poohs. I could not believe it worked so fast! I had some mild cramping and to this day have never run to the bathroom.

Day 8... A lot of nasty pooh shaped things just like the pictures on this web site are coming out of me. I am taking pictures and poking around with it. I know that is gross but I have been dealing with pooh for years remember? Anyway, some of these pieces stuck to a pantyhose like stringy thing were so hard that I had to take a Popsicle stick to break them open. I do not know what the matter was inside of them but I do know it was old and stinky. I have experienced a multitude of pooh smells in my last 20 years, and have never smelled anything like that.

Day 12... still going every day and now 2-3 times a day. I did not know I had so much in me. You can tell which parts are from the fiber; it is lighter and fluffier. You can also tell what is old and built up in there.

Day 21... Still going 2-3 times a day, usually mid day which is no big deal. Now here is the great part. Throughout this entire cleanse, I had experienced a great deal of personal stress and crises. My adult son was very ill for 18 of those days and we were in and out of the hospital and fear was hitting me hard. You would think I would have held off on the cleanse, but I started it and was going to finish it. Believe it or not, I had the most energy and stamina a mother could muster for an ill child. I thought I would crash and burn with emotional exhaustion from the family crises, but thanks to DrNatura’s Colonix, I am well, happy and was able to cope with the crises better than I could have normally. I even cut my caffeine intake to just 1 cup of hot tea per day. Before the cleanse I needed like 4 cups to stay awake.

Furthermore, for the first 2 weeks, I could not eat potato chips. I love chips and they love me, but that bag sat on the counter for a month. That was weird. I usually eat under stress. Cannot explain that one. But, hey less calories equal smaller body.

I did not diet on this plan, only because I did not want to. I may not have eaten chips, but I did eat whatever I could find during my crises, which was not healthy. I really believe that I could lose a substantial amount of weight if I cut back on calories. During my last week, after my personal crises lessened, I stated eating smarter. I already lost 5 pounds. I also bought a scale to get a reality check. I have got to lose some weight now more than ever. I had gained over 25 pounds in the last 18 months. I never used a scale; I just kept buying new clothes. Now, that I have the scale and have nearly completed the first 30 days of the cleanse, I want to do another month for sure.

I do not think that one-month is enough. But, if that is all you can do, then it is better than not doing this at all. "I really love your product! I suffer with IBS and have had it since I was a young child. I am now 40 and up until now thought I would just have to live with all of the bloating, painful bowel movements, distended stomach, etc. I was taking a prescription medicine for IBS and when that was recalled I just about gave up. "I am a returning customer of your product. I don't use the tea now but about once a week. I can't remember the first time I ordered but I believe I am on my 7th month and the results are still wonderful. The bowel movements are regular everyday, the bloating is gone and I feel great. My energy level is awesome. I was suppose to return to my stomach doctor in December 2006, but still haven't had to go.
